Bjorn sets the record straight about Duffy

10 04 2009

In an interview in Stockholm bjdBjörn has corrected the stories from the  British press regarding Duffy.
Bjorn says that at the Mamma Mia! 10th Anniversary party a journalist asked a question about sampling and Madonna.  Then she asked if there any artist that Björn likes to listen to, he replied that Duffy has a “special sound”.  So it seems that Björn´s replies to two totally different questions have been fused together.
Björn says he has never heard reports that Duffy would be interested in sampling any of the ABBA songs.

10 F*****G Years!

Bjorn has been singing the praises once again of UK singer Duffy. He says “If Duffy asked to use Abba’s music and did it cleverly in the way Madonne did, he might well consider agreeing to it”! Bjorn has said he always listens to “Mercy” in his car.

What a wonderful night we had in London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Mamma Mia! Benny and Bjorn joined us to dance and sing and have the time of our lives!  Then to top off the evening the boys came on stage, Benny to plug his gig in Hamstead Heath later this year, and Bjorn to announce ABBA will be performing in a pub on Sunday!  The boys obviously were having a great night and this showed by the moving speach from them to thank every one. It was a wonderful night and as always great to see Benny and Bjorn again.
